Drew Seminars are built on three central goals:

  1. Academic Writing
  2. Analytical and Critical Thinking
  3. Information Literacy

In your Drew Seminar you will begin to acquire, to develop, and to practice the advanced literacy skills necessary for a liberal arts education. In this class you will explore readings, develop ways to respond to questions, and write and revise papers on the topic of your seminar. You will also learn to find and assess the appropriateness of a variety of kinds of sources, becoming information literate as you also become a stronger academic writer.

Some students may elect to also register for Writing Studio where they may continue to strengthen their writing skills.
