Earth House
Now accepting applications for 2014-15 school year – Earth House Application

Our mission is to educate the Drew community on environmental issues and to raise environmental awareness on campus, to relate environmental issues to many disciplines and major fields in order to help foster widespread concern for the environment, to teach the Drew community to preserve and conserve our local community in hopes that they may carry this sentiment with them when they leave the Drew Forest, and to provide a forum where environmentally aware students may share in a daily exchange of ideas and views and work towards building a community.

Earth House is located in Haselton First Floor.
The House Assistant for the 2014-2015 Academic Year is Kate Fisher.

DEAL – Drew Environmental Action League

DEAL seeks to increase campus awareness of environmental issues. The group’s members work to promote activism and positive change towards a more sustainable world. DEAL also provides volunteer opportunities for Drew students. Fern Fest, the annual re-forestation effort on campus, is organized by DEAL.

Justin Dennis is the president and Sylvie Harris is the vice president for 2014-2015.
Join the DEAL weekly meetings on Tuesdays 7pm in Baldwin Main Lounge.

Students for Sustainable Food (SFSF)

Students for Sustainable Food (SFSF) educates and advocates for real food and on campus and in society with fun events and activism. We were founded three years ago when we got Drew to sign onto the Real Food Campus Commitment, promising to serve 20 percent “real food” in our dining halls by 2020. We hold fun food-related events, provide food from local businesses, and connect students with activism opportunities. You don’t have to be an environmentalist to join – you just have to love food!
