Fitness Classes

IMG_1830Fitness classes are a fun, motivating, and challenging way to fit movement into your daily schedule. A great alternative or compliment to any workout regimen, our classes are led by highly skilled and certified instructors. Generally 45 minutes – one hour in length, our cardio/strength and mind/body classes are a reflection of some of the latest trends in group fitness.

This fall, join us on campus on Hoyt Lawn at a socially distanced, outdoor fitness class OR follow along live on Zoom from the comfort of your home! Our NEW “Drew Virtual Time” friendly schedule will run from September 8th – December 11th and will feature a mix of hybrid and virtual fitness classes. Fitness classes areĀ open to all Drew University students, faculty, staff, and alumni only. All participants MUST complete the Drew Fitness Class Participant Waiver prior to attending their first fitness class.

Fall 2020 Fitness Class Breakdown:

Virtual Classes:

  • Offered via Zoom only from September 8th – December 11th.

Hybrid Classes:

  • Offered via Zoom and in-person on Hoyt Lawn from September 8th – October 30th. (Exception: Zumba will take place on the Tennis Courts every Thursday @ 7pm!)
  • Offered via Zoom only from November 1st – December 11th.
  • During in-person classes participants are required to bring their own equipment to class, if applies. No equipment will be provided by Drew or the instructor. No classes will require equipment, but preference items are up to the individual participant. For example: you may want to bring a yoga mat or towel to yoga class.
  • Participants are required to practice responsible social distancing (must maintain at least 6 ft distance from others.)
  • Participants do not have to wear a mask or face covering during the class, but must wear a mask or face covering otherwise.
  • In the case of inclement weather, in-person classes will still be offered at the scheduled time via Zoom only.
