Refrigerators

Please note, if you are doing a room change and need your Campus Specialties Inc. MicroFridge™ unit moved to your new housing assignment, it is the resident’s responsibility to contact Campus Specialties Inc. at 800-525-7307 to schedule your unit to be moved.

Bed Linen

rhl Drew University works with a reliable vendor to provide services for our campus.  The Residence Hall Linens Program has all of your campus living needs, from extra-long twin sheets and comforters to matching towels and storage items.  The extra-long bedding items sold through this program will fit all of the beds on campus.  Free shipping is available on all Value Pak orders, and there are over 40 color combinations to choose from.  Proceeds from this program go to the Office of Residence Life and are used for programming in the residence halls. Care Packages

We  participate in the Collegiate Welcome Service Program and Final Exam Care Package Program sponsored by On Campus Marketing.  Mailings are sent home mid-summer for the Welcome Care Packaged and mid-semester for the exam packages to give parents and families the opportunity to support their student during some of the stressful times of the school year. These packages are delivered to the campus mail room to each student’s mailbox. Or you may print This Form and mail it to:

Permitted/Prohibited Items

Please visit our What to Bring Section so you know what items you can and cannot have in your room.

Common items that CANNOT be in the residence halls for student’s safety include:

  • Coffee makers, except for those that have include all of the following:  non exposed heating elements/coils, automatic shut off switches (ie, Many Keurigs and K-cup ones are allowed.)
  • Extension cords or “outlet expanders” (with the exception of surge protectors – surge protectors are allowed, but one may not be plugged into another.
  • Fireworks, explosives, incense, candles of any kind (including wick or non- wick), candle and wax warmers, and flammable liquids
  • Microwave ovens, microwave-refrigerator combos (except the approved microfridge), hot plates, deep fat fryers, toasters, electric kettles, open-flame or open coil appliances
  • Plug in and indoor grills, such as Foreman Grills or similar models
