Drew University, a Phi Beta Kappa liberal arts university, includes the College of Liberal Arts, the Drew Theological School and the Caspersen School of Graduate Studies. Drew University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in our undergraduate interdisciplinary Business program beginning in August 2017, pending budgetary approval.

Position Description:

In addition to teaching in our liberal arts business program, other responsibilities of the Assistant Professor of Business include scholarly research, mentoring and advising undergraduate students, and engaging in service for the College of Liberal Arts and the University.

Requirements:

We seek candidates who are committed to excellent undergraduate teaching and research. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Psychology or Business (with significant graduate coursework or scholarly pursuits in the social sciences) by August 2017. The teaching load for this full-time position is five courses per year, including an introductory interdisciplinary course for the Business major, a core course in Marketing, and courses in at least one of the following areas: Consumer Behavior, Organizational Behavior, Leadership, or Management. Opportunities to develop other core and/or elective courses in the candidate’s area of expertise would exist. The successful candidate will also have a demonstrated record of scholarly productivity and the ability to develop a research program at Drew that involves undergraduate students. The ability to advise Business majors and mentor students in experiential opportunities would be an integral part of this position.
