Registration Holds for Spring
Registration holds are scheduled to go on November 1st. Make sure to check your account balance on TreeHouse in the Student Account Center to make sure you’ve satisfied your balance due BEFORE pre-registration opens for Spring (Starting Nov 7th). Making sure that your balance due is $0.00 (or a negative amount), will prevent delays for you when your registration window opens.
Billing for JanTerm & Spring 2017
Starting December 2nd JanTerm and Spring billing statements will be emailed to each student who is registered for JanTerm 2017 and/or Spring 2017 as they complete a registration for these terms (all authorized proxies will also receive an emailed copy of their student’s account statement – no paper statements are produced or mailed). JanTerm and Spring balances are expected to be satisfied by January 6, 2017 to avoid the Late Payment Fee. Mailed payments that are postmarked by that date are considered on time, however, you can consider making your Student Account or DrewCard payments electronically at www.drew.edu/payments (or on TreeHouse). IMPORTANT NOTE: Following the Holiday break (Dec 23 – Jan 2), the University Campus will be closed for two additional days (Jan 3rd & 4th) for essential transformer repairs requiring electrical power to be suspended to the campus for those 2 days. Refunds from your Student Account – New Process and Options!
Many of our students will be expecting a refund from their student account. In the past, students would request their refund after add/drop closed and would wait for a check to arrive that could be deposited to their bank account (or cashed). Starting with the Fall 2016 refunds, you can now have your refund deposited directly into your checking or savings account, or request to be issued a debit card that your refund will be deposited to (you can also load funds independently onto this card, so can mom or dad, or anyone else wishing to provide funds to you). Either option will make your refund monies available to you much more quickly.
We sent out an announcement email on August 31st regarding these changes, and the registration emails for the selection portal went out Sept 12th (from firstname.lastname@example.org). Students should login to the Refund Portal to select how they would like to receive their refund.
