Mindfulness and Technology
Presented by Gamin Bartle, Senior Director, Instructional Technology and User Services
February 15, 2017, 12:00pm – 1:30pm in Crawford Hall
This session will be a discussion rather than a presentation. The goal is to come up with practical strategies for using technology intentionally, mindfully and thoughtfully in our lives and work. Strategies in these three areas work together to foster active choices in using technology, ways to balance between screen time and “real” life, and creating more peaceful and successful personal interactions when communicating via technology. We will try to define ways to use technology to connect rather than distance us from each other.
