Brianne Barker is a professor of biology with expertise in vaccine development, HIV biology and understanding immune responses to viral infection. She has an active research laboratory with undergraduate students studying the immune response, particularly the inflammatory response, to HIV and other viral infections. These studies may also have implications for immune responses and inflammation in cancer. Brianne earned a BS in biology from Duke University and a PhD in immunology from Harvard University.
