Welcome! The staff at the Center for Internships and Career Development is excited to meet and work with you as you navigate your way through the first year at Drew University.

At Drew, career development starts in the first year and extends throughout your Senior year, and beyond. It is never too early to engage in self-assessment, consider career options, and think about internship opportunities.

During the academic year, we offer a variety of workshops and seminars. In addition, we help all students prepare a professional résumé and cover letter, assist them with finding and conducting internships, and provide individual, one-on-one career counseling.

The Center for Internships and Career Development also includes the Federal Community Service Program and the Office of Pre-Professional Studies (Pre Heatlth and Pre Law).

In the spring, all first year students are encouraged to take MyPlan, an online career assessment program that measures a student’s skills, values, interests, and personality and the careers that complement them. After completing MyPlan, schedule an individual counseling session to interpret the results and plan the next steps.

Please visit our office and discover the many ways we can help your professional development at Drew. Our offices are located in Sycamore Cottage and we can be contacted at 973-408-3710 or career@drew.edu. Find out about all  events on Twitter, Facebook and in the daily Drew Today emails.

We look forward to four successful years ahead!

All the best,

Suzanne Ceravolo
