Special Interest Housing

Drew University offers residents the options to live in Residence Halls or special interest housing where students with similar goals and focus areas have an opportunity to form a community. Please click the tabs below to see our various specialized communities.

First-Year Special Interest areas include the First-Year Living Learning Experience, Civic Scholars, and Wellness/Substance Free Floors.

Upperclass Special Interest Areas include the Baldwin Scholars, Undergraduate Theme Houses, Gender Inclusive, and Quiet Floors. The Wellness/Substance floors are in first-year and upper-class Residence Halls. They are open to all students.

Roommates and Room Assignments
Assignments are made via our Housing Coordinator.

Undergraduate Theme Houses

Drew University houses four undergraduate unique and creative Theme Houses that embrace various cultures and characteristics. Please contact Coordinator of Residential Engagement Tashir Hampton at thampton@drew.edu or 973-408-3267, or the House Assistant of the specific house for information about the theme houses and the Theme House Application.
