Don’t miss the 2019 College Diversity Summit on 3/23!

The Tri-State Diversity Council would like to introduce our 2019 College Diversity Summit in Newark, New Jersey on Saturday, March 23rd from 10:00am – 3:00pm in NJ at Rutgers Business School (1 Washington Pl, Newark, NJ 07102). The theme for this event is “Disrupting Norms: Changing the Paradox” and aims to encourage workforce development, promote dialogue about diversity and inclusion topics, and foster job skills and connections amongst college students. Our keynote speaker for the program is Michele Meyer-Shipp, the Chief Diversity Officer of KPMG. We are hoping you can spread the word to students by forwarding this message and promoting our event. Resident Life Director needed for Methodist Campus Ministry in KS!

K-State Wesley, a United Methodist campus ministry at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas, is seeking a Resident Life Director (RLD) for the 2019-2020 academic year. The RLD is responsible for overseeing the Christian residential living environment at K-State Wesley. Job duties include administration, programming, policies, communications, services, and personnel management. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, although equivalent experience will be considered.  Residence Life experience is preferred and strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills are required. The RLD position is a part-time, 11-month position, from July 1st, 2019 – May 31th, 2020. Hourly wage of $15.00, up to 25 hours a week. Live-in housing provided with a single room on the 1st floor of the residence hall (with students living on 2nd and 3rd floors). Housing includes room, electricity, gas, water, trash, laundry, and cable/internet service. Total compensation/benefits package estimated at $26,000. Students will be under the direct supervision of an Attending Physician. The departments in which you will have the opportunity to shadow include the Emergency Room, OB/GYN, Hematology/Oncology, and Surgery.
