Thank You for Supporting Drew!
About the Gilbert Challenge
The Drew community—trustees, alumni, parents of students, faculty, staff and friends—rallied to raise more than $4 million in seven months to meet a heady challenge by Dr. Steven Gilbert. Read more.
The University exceeded Gilbert’s goal and raised $4.3 million, demonstrating the power of Drew, which was honored by Gilbert’s $1 million gift, and marks a great start to the new year. Thank you to all who participated in the Gilbert Challenge by making an annual fund gift in 2017.
About the Gilbert Family
Dr. Gilbert is the son of the late Dr. Norma Gilbert, a longtime Drew professor and chair of our math department. Dr. Gilbert has already been very generous to the University. Last year, he gifted $3 million to Drew for the Norma Gilbert Junior Professorship in Mathematics. In 2005, Dr. Gilbert endowed the Gilbert Family Scholarship in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics in memory of both his mom and his dad, Everett Gilbert, an accomplished chemist. Read more about Dr. Gilbert’s generous support, and Dr. Norma Gilbert’s enduring legacy at Drew.
If you haven’t made your annual fund gift this fiscal year, please complete and submit the form below, and thank you for supporting Drew.
