The Alumni Achievement Awards are bestowed on graduates of the College of Liberal Arts who have distinguished themselves and, in doing so, upheld the mission and vision of Drew University.

George Burrill C’65, Achievement in the Liberal Arts Award
At Drew: political science major; active in theatre, baseball and rugby
Since Drew: MA in government from the University of Arizona, PhD in political science and policy studies from Union Graduate School; founder and retired CEO, ARD (now Tetra Tech)

Kathryn “Kathy” Cottingham C’90, Achievement in the Sciences Award
At Drew: biology and math double major; active in field hockey and lacrosse
Since Drew: MS and PhD in zoology from University of Wisconsin–Madison; professor of biological sciences, Dartmouth College
Married to Robert Mosdal, mother of Thomas, 10, and Martin, 7

Leo Grohowski C’80, Achievement in Business Award
At Drew: economics major; active in baseball
Since Drew: MBA from NYU Stern School; chief investment officer, BNY Mellon Wealth Management; past winner of the Alumni Volunteer Award, Wall Street Semester lecturer, member of Drew’s Board of Trustees

George Hayward C’60, Alumni Volunteer Award
At Drew: botany major; active in basketball and baseball (inducted into Athletic Hall of Fame in 1999)
Since Drew: MS in science research from Washington University; career in fundraising for various organizations and as an independent consultant; volunteer in local government, the American Cancer Society, the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education and others

Erin Hennessy C’95, Alumni Service Award
