On Move In Day, everyone is permitted to bring a car on campus, however, all cars must be parked in designated parking spaces.
First year students who live in the residence halls are are not permitted to have a car on campus. First year students and transfer students who are commuting to campus (not resident students) are allowed to have a car on campus – a parking permit is required at all times.
Commuter Student Parking

Commuter students can park in designated parking lots during New Student Orientation:
C (Commuter) PERMIT HOLDERS:
- Main Lot and Tilghman Lot (white-lined spaces).
- The Commuter Lot (located behind Sitterly House).
- Park in the green-lines spaces ONLY. Do not park in the yellow-lined spaces– these are designated for for faculty and staff.
- Please note, this is a small lot. Please allow yourself enough time to park in another designated location if this lot is full.
