Announcing a US/A Program – Social Media @ Work
Wednesday, January 9 – 12:00 p.m. – EC 145
Please join Shawn Spaventa and Nicole Pinto for a hands-on session about using Social Media to promote the work of your department.
In this workshop we will be introducing the basic functionality of two major social media venues, Facebook and Twitter.
If you are interesting in using Social Media to enhance interactive communication in your department or area, this is the workshop for you!
To get the most out of this workshop:
1. Sign up for a Twitter account at twitter.com and follow @Drew_Staff and @danieldrewu.
2. You are also encouraged to post to the hashtag #drewsocial before the session. We will be using this in the workshop as well.
3. Join the Drew US/A Facebook Group.
4. Bring your laptop, tablet and/or smart phone. We will provide a few iPads on a first-come first-served basis.
As always, you are welcome to bring your lunch, but you are responsible for not getting crumbs on your mobile device!
