August Orientation
The August orientation is a time for you to engage with the individuals and resources available to you at Drew as a new community member. Connections begin to form with classmates, other Drew students, faculty, staff and the campus as a whole. The activities planned during orientation will assist students as they begin their transition to life at Drew; this includes getting familiar with the campus landscape, meeting fellow Drew students and making new friends. The experiences and memories you’ll have during orientation will last a lifetime.
August 2020 Orientation will feature a virtual orientation program with the possibility of both small, in-person events and large-scale socially distanced events as per CDC and State guidance during the COVID-19 pandemic.

All full time Drew students are required to have health insurance coverage. Eligible students can purchase health insurance from University Health Plans. Information about the insurance plan and to download a brochure is available at www.universityhealthplans.com or by calling 1.800.437.6448.
Students who already have health insurance may waive the student insurance through the online form in Treehouse.
Students that fail to either enroll or waive the plan will automatically be billed for the student insurance plan on their fall semester tuition bill. Dependents can be enrolled at University Health Plans.
Students must accept or deny any financial aid awards that are allocated to them. Not accepting or denying your awards will place a hold on your account.
Proxy Access gives you the option to specify who should be able to view your bill, grades, holds and other important information.
If you have forgotten or misplaced your log in information, contact the University Technology Service Center at 973.408.HELP (4357) or email helpdesk@drew.edu for assistance.
The Orientation Committee (OC), which is fondly known as the Mighty OC, are an integral part of every new student’s success on the Drew’s campus. Each incoming student is paired up with an OC member, and will be in contact with them throughout the summer, through orientation, and into their first year at Drew.
