Drew University aims to educate the Drew community about Affirmative Action, EEO laws, and Title IX related gender based discrimination issues in an effort to foster understanding of and compliance with applicable federal and state laws as well as the University’s Sexual Harassment and Misconduct and Human Rights Policies . The office is responsible for coordinating the University’s Title IX, EEO, and Affirmative Action related policies, procedures, training, prevention, and compliance efforts.
Our goal is to:
- Promptly, equitably, and thoroughly respond to complaints of discrimination and harassment based upon an EEO related protected basis to include race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, gender expression, marital status, disability, genetic information, gender identity, or any other applicable protected basis under applicable law
- Identify areas of potential discrimination and determine appropriate solutions and/or corrective action
- Coordinate primary prevention and outreach programming to educate the University community
