Church Revitalization: Roadmap to Renewal

Roadmap to Renewal will help local churches work their way through a process of discerning God’s call for their mission and ministry; discover anew (or for the first time) the community that surrounds them to better meet needs; and to design a Ministry Action Plan where God’s call, the community’s need and the gifts and graces of the local church intersect. The workshop is based on the book that Dr. Ruffle wrote, Roadmap to Renewal: Rediscovering the Church’s Mission (New York: General Board of Global Ministries, 2009). Participants will receive a free copy of the Study Guide for the book and copies of the book will be available for sale. Roadmap to Renewal is a “step-by-step” process that leads local church leadership in discovery and change. The goal of the workshop is to train laity and clergy on how best to use the resource to help revitalize their mission and ministry.
