Statement of Educational Effectiveness

The Theological School at Drew University offers a variety of master’s degrees, a professional doctorate, and an academic doctorate. We employ multiple tools to measure the educational effectiveness of each.  The Master of Divinity degree, our largest and longest-running program, provides sufficient numbers for measurement of basic effectiveness, and so we provide those numbers here. Our other three master’s degrees have been revised over the last 4 years, and we will post data after we have been able to collect it for a period sufficient for assessment.

Below are our recent graduation rates for the Master of Divinity degree:

  • For the 2008 cohort entering in 2004: 67.1%
  • For the 2009 cohort entering in 2005: 67.7%
  • For the 2010 cohort entering in 2006: 61.3%
  • For the 2011 cohort entering in 2007: 70.2%
