Drew Theological School Open House

During “Open Doors @ Drew,” we invite prospective students from the Mid-Atlantic and beyond to spend a part or the whole of a day engaging current students and faculty, visiting classes, worshiping in chapel, touring the campus and meeting other prospective students. This day is intended for persons considering the Master of Divinity, Master of Arts, or Master of Arts in Ministry at Drew Theological School and is an ideal opportunity for those who might not otherwise be able to visit Drew before deciding to begin seminary. There is no charge to participate in Open Doors @ Drew.

During the day, you will have opportunities to hear why other prospective students are considering theological education and to sit in classrooms with students who have already made that decision. You will experience first-hand the rich diversity of the Drew faculty and student body. Most likely, you will meet someone a lot like yourself and others who seem splendidly different. In chapel, you will hear inspired words and sing with the seminary choir. If you choose to take the campus tour, you will be immersed in our forested campus and see the variety of activities that keep our campus buzzing. Later in the day, you will hear from a university representative about opportunities for scholarships and financial aid, Admissions will describe our free online application process, and you will learn more about our multiple housing options.

Itinerary

Open Doors @ Drew offers three entry points throughout the day. We invite you to participate in as much of the day as your schedule permits. Furthermore, we recognize that some will choose to remain the entire day while others will elect to join us for a portion of the day. Please consult the itinerary below to decide the entry point at which you will begin your day and the time you will conclude your visit.

NJ Transit Schedule

We make every effort to provide flexible and convenient options that will make the most of your visit. With that in mind, we are happy to provide the following information about NJ Transit from New York and Hoboken, as well as airport information, driving directions, additional train information and a campus map A shuttle will run from the Madison Train Station to Drew University. If you are walking from the Madison Train Station, Drew is a fifteen-minute walk West on Kings Road or Madison Avenue.
