Drew University Sport Clubs offer all students the opportunity to participate in competitive sports at a higher level. Drew University offers various club sports, all of which are student managed. The student leaders provide a fun and competitive atmosphere allowing individuals to continue to participate in the sports they love, meet new people and try new activities. Club Sports are the perfect way stay active, learn new skills and network on- and off-campus.

The Drew Rangerettes Dance Team – can be seen at all home men & women’s basketball games, various University and alumni events, as well as other functions around the Drew University campus. Contact the Rangerettes: Rangerettes@drew.edu
The Men’s Rugby Club was founded at Drew University in 1971. The team plays a full schedule of intercollegiate competition as a member of the USA Rugby Union, traveling to matches & tournaments all over the Atlantic Seaboard. The club offers prospective members an outlet for tough physical play on the field and social camaraderie off the field. The rugby club helps to instill a passion for the game and helps prepare its members for life after college by allowing players to practice teamwork, time management, leadership, and physical and mental toughness. The Women’s Rugby Club has been successful throughout its 15 year existence. The club competes in intercollegiate matches as a member of the USA Rugby Union. The only requirement for membership is a tough spirit. In 2007 and 2008 the club competed in the Metropolitan NY Playoff and lost close games with Vassar College and Stonybrook, respectively. The Drew Step Team originated in the fall of 2004 with 10 energetic young women who choreograph and perform fast-paced routines which incorporate rhythmic stomps, hand claps and call-and-response-style. Their steps are executed with drill team precision and usually performed without musical instruments. They are available to perform during halftime of all athletic games, for churches, youth groups, schools/colleges and also special invitational performances. This club is currentlyrebuilding! Drew’s Co-Ed Club Soccer Team is open to anyone who wants to further their education on ‘the beautiful game.’ The team plays in competitions with other northeast colleges and also hosts special viewing parties of the World Cup and other major soccer events. Contact: ClubSoccer@drew.edu

The Drew Ultimate Frisbee Club was founded in the late eighties. The clubs first bid to nationals came in 1996, followed by appearances in four of the next five years. Club ultimate offers students a chance to play one of the fastest growing sports in the world. If you enjoy fast-paced, constant action that combines elements of soccer, football, and basketball; ultimate might be the sport for you. The club fields two competitive teams that participate in UPA intercollegiate and club action by traveling around the Mid Atlantic to sanctioned tournaments. Drew Unified Sports joins people with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team and is dedicated to promoting social inclusion through shared sports training and competition experiences. Men’s Club Basketball Team was founded in the fall of 2018. This team is plays in the National Club Basketball Association league. The team practices 2-3 times/week and looks to compete in local tournaments both during the fall and spring semesters.

All participants of the Drew Rangerettes Dance Team and the Men and Women’s Rugby teams must complete the following forms prior to participation in practice or competition. This paper work must be completed for each academic year. Once completed, the forms need to be handed to the Director of Campus Recreation in the Simon Forum.
