Drew University Named a Princeton Review Best College Once Again

Makes lists for theater, race/class interaction, and radio station

August 2021 – Drew University has made The Princeton Review’s annual The Best 387 Colleges list of the nation’s top schools. Drew has made the list every year since its debut in 1992.

The list, which includes only about 14 percent of schools in the country, praised Drew for its 60-plus majors and minorsseven NYC Semesters, top-ranked theatre program, impressive science departments, engaging and dedicated faculty, and myriad research opportunities.

In addition to the top colleges list, the publication typically uses student feedback to create supplemental lists of the top 20 schools in distinctive categories. Last year, Drew was named to the Best College Theater and Lots of Race/Class Interaction lists—the only school in New Jersey on either.

This year, in lieu of student feedback amid the COVID-19 pandemic and in celebration of the 30th edition of the guide, The Princeton Review compiled “Great Lists,” each featuring 16-29 schools that historically appeared on their supplemental lists.

Drew was included on lists for Great College Theater, Great Race/Class Interaction, and Great College Radio Station.

Earlier this year, The Princeton Review named Drew to its highly selective Best Value College list for the third consecutive year.
