Master’s in the Art of Teaching (M.A.T.) House

“What is the MAT house?” We are 4 students working in conjunction with Residence Life, Graduate Admissions and the Caspersen School to unite the MAT cohort, as well as let the greater university community at Drew know what the MAT program is and who we are.
Past programs included Tuesday Pub Nights for all MAT students! They  were held in  the Pub in the EC on campus after evening classes. The Pub will be open throughout the semester for graduate students and faculty/staff, such as trivia nights, so be on the lookout for those nights as well. Also Recruiting Events in October, April, and May for prospective MAT candidates.
Finally, if you are interested in helping out the MAT house in any way, from recruiting events with Graduate Admissions, to volunteering at some of our planned events throughout the year, please email me at nrusso@drew.edu. Our faculty advisor is Stephanie McGowan, director of the MAT program. Our main goals this year are to reach out to CLA students about our program and recruit them, as well as create a bond with the cohort.
