Each Residence Hall offers multiple programming and events throughout out the year. In addition, there are Annual Events_MG_6554 open to all residents below, please find a listing of the annual events.

Welcoming Meetings for all residents are held within the first week of school either by complex or by floor.

Casino Night: each year Casino Night combines important community safety information and has a different theme. So come dressed for the occasion and enjoy a fun night filled with Black Jack, Texas Hold ‘Em, and much more!  There are prizes to be won!

The Price is Right: A fun and interactive program open to all residents held in the Ehinger Center. Make a fun t-shirt to wear for the event and win an additional chance to play the game. There will be a ton of prizes to win so COME ON DOWN!!!

Trick-or-Treat: Welch’s Living Council invites children living in Wendel and Tipple Halls to Trick-or-Treat in Welch. Stay a while longer and join us in the  for pumpkin painting while sipping some delicious apple cider.image The Show


Drew Halloween
: This event is sponsored by the Office of Student Activities and Residence Life and Community Standards.
In the past this fun filled evening has offered  dancing, a costume contest judged by the Fashion Club,  karaoke, a psychic, face painting and masquerade mask decorating, candy poker, pumpkin painting,  make your own love potion (mocktail making), make your own carmel apples, popcorn bar, and a Photo Booth! A variety of food is offered for attendees to enjoy.

DrewtTopia: An annual campus-wide event focusing on de-stressing and finding balance. It is co-hosted by Counseling, Health Services, Religious Life, Student Activities, Residence Life, and  Substance Abuse Prevention.

 

 

Egg Hunt coordinated by the Welch, Wendel, and Tipple Living Councils for the children living in Wendel and Tipple, generally held in March or April to welcome spring. Treats are found in each of the eggs.

Last Saturday of Spring Semester: Fun and Games held in the Tolley Brown Circle. Activities revolve around a theme unnamedchosen each year usually it includes a slip-n-slide, BBQ, etc. In recent years the event has been co-sponsored by RHA, DV8, NSE, the Alumni Office, the Art Club, and Student Activities.
