Instructions for entering grades online via the Treehouse system.

  1. Click on the Treehouse link below.
  2. Once on the the Treehouse Page,  click on the faculty link (located at the upper center of the Treehouse page)
  3. Once you are on the faculty page, scroll down to the bottom of the page. The courses you will be entering grades for the Spring 2013 term will be located on the lower left side of the screen under “Faculty Grade Assignment”.  Click on the link under status (located left of the course title; pencil and pad for classes that have not been started and a triangle with an exclamation for classes in progress *see picture below) to go directly to the grade processor.  Note:  Do not click on the course title.Faculty Grade
  4. Once in the roster use the drop down menu under grade to input the grade. Note: Last date of attendance is used only if giving “F” grade, otherwise leave blank. Attend Hours is always left blank.

Once you have entered a grade for every registered student in your class (if your roster is greater than 25, it will be split into multiple record sets), click on submit. Please note the message below the submit button. Once signed into the grade processor,  the system will remain active for 60 minutes.  If you are entering grades for a large class, please submit your input before the system times out.

Additional Information Regarding Final Grade Input

Please note, once faculty inputs grades, students cannot view them until they are “rolled” by the  Office of the Registrar.    Grades are rolled daily.   Once grades are rolled, faculty cannot update rolled grades online.  Any changes would have to be processed by the Registrar’s Office.

Incompletes

Faculty in the College of Liberal Arts may not informally assign an “I” on their own authority. Students must formally file for incompletes with Dean Nicholas prior to the end of the semester. Grades not submitted will be assigned the grade “F,” which is unsatisfactory progress.

Please Note: The following grades cannot be entered through the online grade processor in the College of Liberal Arts: I, NR, W, X, Z

 

Theological School
