Associate Professor

After graduating from the University of the south, Sewanee, TN with a Bachelor’s Degree in philosophy, Catherine immediately left to travel in East Asia for a year, studying first Chinese and then the various beaches in Thailand. After a three year stint working in a think tank in Washington D.C., she pursued a Ph.D. in political science and a Certificate of East Asian Studies at Columbia University that included a two year stint conducting research in the PRC. She joined Drew University in 1995.
