From lower Manhattan to the Bronx, first-year students see sights related to their seminars.

September 2017 – Drew University’s Class of 2021 covered a lot of ground during Drew’s annual trip to New York City for first-year students—from the Financial District, Union Square and Times Square to the Upper East Side, Harlem and the Bronx.

Along the way, some 350 students toured museums, visited monuments, saw a play and tended an urban garden, with the stops geared toward the seminars they’re taking. In between, they rode subways, walked neighborhoods and ate together, with 27 professors and administrators as guides. Here’s a closer look at the Sunday in N.Y.C.
