The Choral Union at Drew University Welcomes Singers
August auditions open to community residents, faculty, staff, students and alumni.
Madison, N.J.—The Choral Union at Drew University, a group of around 80 singers that focuses on choral-orchestral masterworks, is holding auditions on August 14–16.
The Choral Union is made up of students, faculty, staff, Drew alumni and interested members of the community. The group is open to singers from a wide variety of backgrounds and skill sets and performs three to four concerts a year from September to May.

Members of the Choral Union rehearse on Wednesdays from 7 to 9:30 p.m. in the Concert Hall at the Dorothy Young Center at Drew from September 2 to December 5 and from January 20 to April 30.
During its 2015–2016 season, the Choral Union will perform at Drew President MaryAnn Baenninger’s Inauguration concert on October 1, a holiday concert on Saturday, Dec. 5 featuring Britten’s Saint Nicolas Cantata, a choir invitational on March 19 and Poulenc’s Gloria with the New Jersey Youth Symphony on April 30.
