Power was partially restored to campus last night, but as of Tuesday morning, only two of our three main lines are carrying current. As a result, some buildings remain dark. That mirrors the situation in the Borough of Madison — some neighborhoods have power, some don’t.

For buildings with power, facilities is busy checking the heating and safety systems, some of which were damaged by the outage and need to be repaired. Because of the uncertainty over when full power will be restored and the need to test the remaining safety systems once it is, Drew will remain closed on Wednesday. All classes have been canceled and administrative offices will be closed.

A further update will be posted this evening. For earlier storm updates, please visit Drew Today.
