High school singers and their choral directors are invited to join us on Saturday, March 29, 2014 for the inaugural “Chorus in the Forest” festival. Experience for yourself what it’s like to be a Drewid who loves to sing!
CHORUS IN THE FOREST is a one-day choral festival on the campus of Drew University in Madison, NJ, offering an opportunity for participating high school students and their music teachers to experience Drew’s choral program firsthand. Spend the day rehearsing a diverse and challenging program of choral music with our 100-voice Drew University Choral Union, ending with a public performance in Drew’s world-class Concert Hall. Students and music teachers are encouraged to attend together; however, students are not required to be accompanied by a teacher in order to participate.
The registration deadline has been extended to February 7, 2014. Be sure to send in both the Registration Form and the Participant Information Form, along with your registration fee of $20 to cover the cost of music for the day. The music will be yours to keep after the festival. The registration paperwork can also be scanned/e-mailed to email@example.com, and participants can bring the registration fee on the day of the festival.
For more information, contact Dr. Jason Bishop, Director of Choral & Vocal Studies, at firstname.lastname@example.org, 973-408-3791.
