Academic Video Online (AVON) from Alexander Street Video provides unlimited remote access to more than 63,000 videos all cross-searchable from a single platform.

Content includes scholarly video material including documentaries, interviews, performances, news programs and newsreels, field recordings, commercials, demonstrations, original and raw footage including tens of thousands of exclusive tiles. There are thousands of award-winning films, along with the most frequently used films for classroom instruction.


After a successful trial we’ve added HeinOnline, a fully searchable, image-based government document and legal research database. It contains comprehensive coverage of U.S. statutory materials, U.S. Congressional Documents and more than 2,500 scholarly journals, all of the world’s constitutions, all U.S. treaties, presidential documents, and access to the full text of state and federal case law. This Government, Politics & Law package includes special collections on Criminal Justice, History, Foreign Relations, Religion and the Law and Women and the Law.
