Matthew Beland and Chris Taylor
In honor of Drew University’s 150th anniversary, two collectors will come together to discuss collecting Drew. University Archivist Matthew Beland has been tasked with collecting, preserving, and showcasing Drew University’s past. His work in University Archives puts him in contact with materials from the founding of school to the present day. Professor Chris Taylor collects documents related to Daniel Drew, who contributed to the founding of the school and for whom Drew University is named. Materials from both collections will be on display, and attendees will have a chance to view the exhibit on Drew’s Sesquicentennial.
