The following documents must be completed and returned to the Center for Internships and Career Development in Sycamore Cottage prior to the start date of your on-campus employment. Please note that original documents are required; we cannot accept photocopies.
A completed I-9 form verifies and authorizes an employee to work in the United States.
If you’ll be working on campus, please complete the I-9 form and bring the completed copy and required documentation to the Human Resources office in Madison House Mondays or Thursdays for submission and verification.
If your work will take place virtually, please complete the I-9 form and email a copy with scans of your required documentation to Maria Force, Director of Human Resources at firstname.lastname@example.org. You will need to provide original documentation once back on campus.
A W-4 form is a tax form that tells an employer how much federal income tax to withhold from each paycheck. If too little is withheld, you will generally owe tax when you file your tax return and may owe a penalty. If too much is withheld, you will generally be due a refund.
This form can be filled out online through the University’s ADP Workforce Now platform. Log in to ADP through the link to the W-4 form above, click on Myself, Pay, and then Tax Withholding. Select the Federal W-4 tile. Click Edit and follow the prompts to complete and submit the form electronically. The State Withholding form can be competed electronically on ADP as well.
The University Confidentiality Agreement governs access to confidential information, data, systems, and tools. The provisions contained in this agreement are considered conditions of your participation in programs and employment offered by the University.
The Student Employment Agreement sets out the expectations of both students and their employers, and is signed electronically by both during your on-campus employment orientation.
All required documents must be submitted to the Center for Internships and Career Development in Sycamore Cottage prior to your employment start date. No student employee may begin work until all documents are received.
