The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science in the College of Liberal Arts of Drew University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track position as a visiting Assistant Professor in Computer Science starting in August 2013. The initial appointment will be for one year, with a possible extension for a second year.
The successful candidate will teach three undergraduate courses per semester. Preference will be given to applicants who have completed the Ph.D. in computer science or a related area; applicants close to finishing the Ph.D. will be considered.
The College of Liberal Arts of Drew University is a selective liberal arts college with 1,750 students located 30 miles outside New York City in the picturesque borough of Madison, New Jersey. Drew’s 186 acre wooded campus is within walking distance of the Madison train station, which offers direct service to Midtown Manhattan’s New York Penn Station. The College is known for its small class sizes and mentorship of students, and it supports faculty excellence in both teaching and research.
