Provide support to a busy Admission Office in the processing of student applications and inquiries.  Assist in daily document management – inbound and outbound processing.  Specific tasks may include, but are not limited to: importing data into Banner using NOLIJ transfers as well as direct data entry, filing, answering phones, occasional front-desk relief, responding to inquiries in the departmental email box, processing applications and records, requesting daily production of computer-generated letters via Banner, indexing application records using Banner Document Scanning, supervising daily outgoing mail, supervising student workers and maintaining their schedules, maintaining office and literature supply inventory, and running simple daily data reports.  This position serves as the primary back-up and support for the Operations Officer.  This is an entry level position.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with at least one year of office experience.  Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are required.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word Merge, Excel, internet, email and telephone etiquette.  Preference will be given to candidates with Banner or Datatel Experience. Willingness to learn new technology and programs is required.  Must demonstrate grace under pressure, while maintaining speed and superior attention to detail.  Position requires excellent time management, communication and organizational skills.
