The Administrative Assistant in the Governor’s School at Drew University will provide administrative support for the Co-Directors and the school’s operation. Responsibilities include purchasing, monitoring the budget, coordinating admissions, and maintaining the Governor’s School website. The position requires initiative; strong problem solving, communication and organizational skills; flexibility, and the ability to interact and communicate in a friendly and helpful manner with students, parents, university, state government and school officials.

This is an hourly paid, non-exempt, part-time position. This position is not eligible for medical benefits.  Position is part-time September through May and full-time June, July and August.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required with 1-3 years of related administrative experience

Excellent technical skills and a high level of experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, Windows XP and Windows 7, email systems, word processing, and database management is essential. Experience with WordPress, Adobe Photoshop, Banner, and Facebook or the ability to quickly learn these systems is highly desirable. Resume review begins on June 1, 2015.
