Open Enrollment Reminders & Dates: There are only a few days left to enroll in medical, dental and vision coverage, or to select the opt-out option. Please note: United Healthcare coverage will end on December 31, 2015, and Cigna coverage will begin on January 1, 2016. To continue healthcare coverage, all employees must enroll in Cigna by Monday, November 30, 2015. Those who wish to decline coverage must do so by Monday, November 30, 2015. Please note: The University will end United Healthcare coverage on December 31, 2015 and begin Cigna coverage on January 1, 2016. This link has instructions on how to enroll in all benefits: Cigna Open Access Plus plans, Dental and Vision plan enrollment information. Information regarding the new premium rates can also be found on this link. Enrollment for all benefits will be done on-line via self-service. For instructions, please visit the Open Enrollment link on the HR Intranet. We will communicate when the enrollment link has been activated. If you need assistance during on-line enrollment, please call, Fredi at x3795. Changes to Medical Benefits:  Drew’s relationship with UnitedHealthcare will end on December 31, 2015. Effective January 1, 2016, Cigna will be Drew’s new medical carrier.  Cigna’s network of Providers is competitive to UHC and they will continue to offer three plans that have the same benefit design     (deductibles, copays, coinsurance and out of pocket maximum) that Drew offers to staff and faculty members today. The three plans will be: Core Open Access Plus, Base Open Access Plus and Enhanced Open Access Plus –  All national Network Plans  With Cigna there will be a new addition: Telemedicine offered through MDLive.  MD Live provides immediate online access 24/7/365 that is affordable, quality for non-urgent care through a national network, board certified doctor via phone, skype or facetime.  The doctors will be able to address common minor health concerns such as allergies, pink eye, sinus infections and rashes, including prescribing medication if appropriate.  Employees will also have access to Cigna’s Pre-Enrollment Customer Service line 24 /7/365 to ask general questions during Open Enrollment, i.e., provider look up, benefit questions, pharmacy questions, and Cigna services. New Health Reform Coverage Added to Medical Plans • Breast Cancer Susceptibility Gene (BRCA) testing coverage update effective July 1, 2015 • Contraceptive coverage update effective July 1, 2015 • Low-dose aspirin to prevent preeclampsia coverage effective Sept. 1, 2015 In response to new Affordable Care Act (ACA) guidance, UnitedHealthcare will add coverage described below for plans which currently have health reform preventive coverage. This information will also will be reflected in the July Preventive Care Services Coverage Determination Guidelines (CDG) and Preventive Care Medication Lists. BRCA Genetic Testing Benefit Extended to Personal History July 1 On May 11, the Departments of Treasury, Labor and Health and Human Services released frequently asked questions (FAQ) that clarified the implementation of certain preventive care requirements under the ACA. The departments specifically addressed personal history as it relates to routine BRCA testing. In response to this new guidance, UnitedHealthcare will cover BRCA testing as a preventive benefit for women 18 years of age or older who have a personal history of breast and/or ovarian cancer. Health Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA): Do you have funds left in your 2014 FSA or DCFSA?
