Mark your calendar for the Benefits Fair – Thursday, November 7th between 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in Ehinger Center, Room 152 (Crawford Hall) . Vendors will be available to go over any of the benefits we offer and to answer any questions you may have.
We will be having our annual open enrollment for all benefits beginning November 1 through November 22 for any changes or if you’d like to add/remove any benefits.
HR will be moving away from paper enrollment for Medical, Dental, Vision and FSA during Open Enrollment. The instructions for enrolling in each benefit are listed under its own sub-heading. Please print the instructions and use during on-line enrollment. Although employees will be enrolling on-line, we ask that you complete a rate sheet and submit it to HR after enrolling on-line. Also remember to submit documents such as birth certificate, marriage certificates, etc. to provide proof of relationship for any dependent or spouse you are enrolling. Please do not forget to add your dependent’s information during on-line enrollment or your dependent will not be enrolled in any benefit. This is only required if you are re-enrolling in Flexible Spending (FSA) or making a change to one of your existing benefits or need to enroll for the first time.

United Health Care – Through negotiations, we were able to maintain our current rates for 2014!
Delta Dental – The following changes will be made for Dental
- We will be removing the buy-up option for Dental ~ If you are currently enrolled in the Buy-Up option, you will need to either select the Base Dental plan or Premier Dental plan. If no choice is made by the end of the Open Enrollment period, you will be defaulted into the Premier Dental plan. Please contact Fredi Cox on ext. 3795 if you have any questions.
- There will be a slight rate reduction for vision in 2014.

LONG TERM CARE
We are offering Long Term Care benefits through Genworth to all full-time faculty and staff. A separate email will be coming out today regarding this benefit.
