Location & Dates
Summer Housing will be located in Hoyt-Bowne Hall, however, initially residents will move into Tolley Hall until Hoyt is cleaned and ready for occupancy. Summer Housing is available from Monday, May 16, 2011 through Friday, August 29, 2011.
Eligibility
Summer housing is available, as space permits, to Drew students whose business account has been cleared and who have paid the $50 non-refundable Summer Housing application fee. Priority will be given first to students registered for Summer Session courses, then to students employed by Drew University for at least 20 hours per week. All other requests will be as space is available.
Reservations
Students who meet the above eligibility requirements must complete the attached Summer Housing application and return it to the Housing Office by Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Any application received after May 11th will be accepted on a space available basis.
Room Payments
(meal plan not included)
All summer residents are responsible for paying their rents in accordance with the schedule below. No summer housing arrangements will be made for partial weeks. If you stay any part of the week you will be billed for the entire week. No exceptions will be made. The Business Office will bill you for the entire time that you intend to stay in Summer Housing. Meals are not included with Summer Housing.
- Double room – $190.00 per week
- Single room – $208.00 per week
- Double room without roommate (if space is available) – $263.00 per week
Refund Policy
Refunds will only be made under these conditions: The University is not able to accommodate you in either a double or single room; or the class for which you have registered is canceled. All other housing is non-refundable, so please plan carefully!
Interim Housing
Students in need of housing before May 16, 2011, or August 19, to Aug. 27. 2011 will be charged for Interim Housing at a cost of $48/day. Please indicate if you will need Interim Housing on this form.
