1. Parking at Copper Beech is authorized for residents of 34-42 Loantaka Way, and their guests only, and is enforced by the University Department of Public Safety.
  2. Parking is for registered passenger vehicles only. No commercial vehicles, trailers of any sort, boats, recreational vehicles, or other non-passenger vehicles may be parked at Copper Beech.
  3. All residents’ vehicles must be registered with the Department of Public Safety and bear a visible, current decal.
  4. All vehicles must maintain legal registration and insurance.
  5. Parking is permitted only in the lined spaces and garage aprons.
  6. The driveway is a fire zone for emergency vehicle access. Curbside parking is prohibited.
  7. Vehicles that are not properly registered to current Copper beech residents will, after proper notification, be removed, at the owner’s expense.
  8. Vehicles that are not parked in approved spaces or garage aprons will be removed, at the owner’s expense.
  9. The pavement is constructed of porous material to allow water to drain. Parking heavy vehicles such as loaded trucks and moving vans, for more than a few hours can damage the pavement, and therefore is not permitted.
  10. Vehicles should be parked so they do not overhang the sidewalk and grassy areas to facilitate snow removal and ground maintenance.
  11. Requests for temporary relief from these policies shall be made in writing to the Board.
  12. This policy goes into effect on August 1, 2007.
