The stewards of these historic properties are at a loss as to where to look for this money. Funding is available for historic properties if you know where to look. Identifying the appropriate funding sources and writing a winning grant application will be the primary focus of this course.  This class will provide an overview of the types of funding required for historic properties, elements of the grant application, research methods, identifying funding sources, understanding funding eligibility requirements, a possible field trip to the Foundation Library in New York City and preparing your own winning grant application.
