M.F.A. in Poetry: The Drew University Master of Fine Arts in Poetry Program is a two-year, low-residency program for poets and poet translators. Students hone and develop their talent, as well as gain knowledge of the craft and poetics of contemporary American writers, and writers from other eras and cultures. The program offers some of America’s most talented poets as faculty mentors who work one-on-one with our students. Learn more.
Arts & Letters: The Arts and Letters program offers graduate-level interdisciplinary studies that explore the foundation and development of civilization in relationship to contemporary societies. Medical Humanities: The Medical Humanities program is designed for health care providers, educators, and interested lay people who wish to engage the science of medicine and the humanistic endeavor of care-giving in a meaningful dialogue. M.A./Ph.D.:
Drew University’s Caspersen School of Graduate Studies is excited to
announce the upcoming launch of a new M.A./Ph.D. Program in History and
Culture designed to train students for careers in academia and beyond.
This program, approved by Drew University’s Board of Trustees in May
2008, will be interdisciplinary, with a focus on intellectual and
cultural studies, and feature several new experiences: Ph.D.@Work
internships, writing seminars designed for and taught by professional
non-fiction writers, and adequate financial support for doctoral
students.
