Please note that, like many other graduate institutions, the Graduate Division of Religion is shifting away from an in-house dossier service. We recommend that our students and graduates use Interfolio, a well known and widely used online credentials service, for their dossier needs. Among other programs, Interfolio offers a secure dossier service, acting as a third-party depository for letters of recommendation, writing samples, curriculum vitae, and other pertinent documents, for their clients. Upon request, Interfolio will deliver the dossier to the requested institution by either electronic or hard copy. Express delivery options are available. Clients are able to track the progress of their request, and confirm shipment of the documents.

Information regarding the full complement of Interfolio services can be found on their website, www.interfolio.com. Specific information regarding the Dossier services can be found here. Pricing information is found here.

The Graduate Division of Religion Office of Admissions and Placement will be transitioning all active dossier folders to the Interfolio service during the 2010 academic year. Inactive folders will be archived until such time as the graduate requests reactivation; these folders will be transitioned to Interfolio at that time.

Students and alumni/ae wishing to transfer their dossier files to Interfolio must first open an account with Interfolio. Then contact the GDR Placement Office in order to request that documents be sent to Interfolio. The placement staff will send your documents to Interfolio for scanning on your behalf, and the files will be available in your Interfolio account online after processing. Alumni/ae and strongly encouraged to ensure that up-to-date documents are included in their dossier files at the time of transfer.
