The Kathryn D. Stanley Scholarship
The purpose of the scholarship is to recognize academic excellence in the study of French at Drew, and to give a deserving Drew student the possibility of spending a semester at a university in France or a deserving French student to spend a semester at Drew University.
Awards will vary from student to student and from year to year but may include : partial to full tuition payment, additional funds for related expenses.
National French Honor Society
The purpose of this Society is to (1) recognize outstanding scholarship in the French language and its literature; (2) to increase the knowledge and appreciation of Americans for the cultural contributions of the French-speaking world; (3) to stimulate and encourage French cultural activities
Assistantship in France
Since 1997, the Cultural Service of the French Embassy has offered an extraordinary internship program to students enrolled in an American university or to those students who have obtained their undergraduate or graduate level diploma within the last 2 years. The success of this service is growing with students and internship companies.
Youth International Meetings
Each year, France offers around 50 short-term cultural and linguistic programs to young French-speaking Americans. Duration: 9 to 15 days. All expenses (accomodation, meals, activities) are paid for by the French Government. However, the candidates have to pay their round trip to the meeting point in France.
