Study Abroad Scholarship: The Coccia Foundation offers $2000 every year to a very involved student in the Italian club who has applied to the Orvieto Summer Program.
Paragano Family Foundation Scholarship: This scholarship is to be awarded to a senior who wishes to continue his/her Italian studies education to become an Italian teacher and/or wishes to continue on for his/her graduate studies in Italian (Masters or PhD) for the preservation of the Italian Culture.

SITE INTERNSHIP IN ITALY
The SITE program (Study Intercultural Training Experience) is a paid internship for students of Italian to serve as English teaching assistants in the schools of Lombardy. This a great opportunity for students who would like to live for 8 months in Italy and experience Italian language and culture or that are interested in becoming teachers.
Requisites: Status as a B.A. student (Italian major or minor preferred), recently graduated (within the past 18 months at the time of application) or as an M.A or Ph.D. student specializing in Italian language and culture. In absence of such preferred requisites, completion of at least 3 semesters of University level Italian with a minimum of “B” is required.
The Drew student chosen for 2016-17 is Elizabeth Buckridge who will graduate with a major in Italian Studies in May 2016.
