The TMS Payment Gateway is the only way to make a payment to your student account with a credit card or electronically from your checking/savings account.  There is a 2.99% service fee associated with the use of a credit card through the Payment Gateway (minimum $1.00 transaction fee) and is assessed by the service upon completion of the transaction.  If you choose the self service option AND the checking/savings account option the fee is waived.

Accessing the TMS Payment Gateway

Before accessing the Payment Gateway, please have the following three items ready:

  • Amount you are paying (TMS cannot answer questions regarding your balance, as they do not have access to your Drew University Account)
  • Credit Card or Bank Account information
  • Student’s Drew University 9 digit ID# (example: 001234567)

By Phone: call toll free from the United States (800) 722-4867, choose the option that allows you to make a one-time payment (International callers must use 401-921-3700).  Available Monday through Friday, 8am to 10pm and Saturday, 9am to 3pm.

By Internet: To pay online please visit www.afford.com/drew and scroll to the “Make a Payment” box.  Available to process your payment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Once you have completed your transaction you will be given a confirmation number (keep this for your records). Your payment will show on your Drew account within the hour. If you do not see your payment on your Drew account, please contact the Business Office at (973) 408-3114 (during our posted business hours).  Do not reprocess your payment as this will duplicate your payment.
