As “The University in the Forest,” Drew University Facilities Management Department is committed to maintaining the buildings and grounds to the highest possible standards at Drew University, and takes great pride in doing so. The department staff includes professionals in all aspects of facilities maintenance.
Drew University continues to monitor the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and has adopted the practice of social distancing. Drew Facilities Services is working with campus administration to provide a strong response to this situation. All essential services are available and there is staff on campus to respond to student, faculty and staff needs. The custodial division is following current CDC guidelines for cleaning higher education facilities.

The first phase of the campus electrical power upgrade was successfully completed in August 2019. The phase two upgrade is schedule to occur from 5 p.m. on Thursday, August 6 through 7 p.m. on Monday, August 10. During this time, the campus will be closed to all non-essential personnel.
The Service Response Center is located in the Pepin Service Building. Current hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM.
Facilities has technical and custodial staff on campus much of the time even when the service center is closed. If you are in need of immediate service after the Service Response Center has closed, please contact Public Safety at 973- 408- 3379 to dispatch emergency support. You may also contact your RA for issues in your residence hall.
