As “The University in the Forest,” Drew University Facilities Management Department is committed to maintaining the buildings and grounds to the highest possible standards at Drew University, and takes great pride in doing so. The department staff includes professionals in all aspects of facilities maintenance.

Coronavirus Impact on Facilities Services

Drew University continues to monitor the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and has adopted the practice of social distancing. Beginning Monday, March 16, and continuing through a slated period of three weeks, the University will operate in Drew Virtual Time for both learning and business. Drew Facilities Services is working with campus administration to provide a strong response to this situation. All essential services are available and there is staff on campus to respond to student, faculty and staff needs. The custodial division is following current CDC guidelines for cleaning higher education facilities.

Our Mission

The department provides quality, timely, and cost effective service to the Drew Community through the following underlying principles:

  • All Community members will be treated fairly, with respect and courtesy.
  • All Community members will have an advocate through the Service Response Center.
  • Conservation of energy, utilities, and efficiencies of service forms the background for improving services and shifting daily service requests towards planned maintenance.
  • Projects will be designed and executed to the highest possible standards.
