Everyday Ethics is an opportunity for all members of the Drew community to explore the ethical notion and concept of “the good” operating in various sectors of human life. The initiative is intended to respond to the University’s mission by examining multiple facets of everyday life. Everyday Ethics expands and deepens the capacity of students to understand and apply diverse ethical principles and practices operating in everyday life.
Drew University’s Everyday Ethics initiative was launched during the 2015–16 academic year, thanks to the generosity and leadership of Dr. Edward G’98,’99 and Mrs. Barbara Zinbarg of Short Hills, New Jersey.
“Barbara and I marvel at the rich teaching resources at Drew’s three schools. An Everyday Ethics program cuts across the entire academic framework at Drew and integrates these resources at all three schools.” —Ed Zinbarg G’98,’99
