ETC works in concert with Computing and Network Services and Instructional Technology Services and develops, maintains, and supports a variety of applications such as:
- AIMS: The Academic Institute Management System – Drew’s central administrative database; responsible for student information, human resources, and financial applications
- mvQuery: A tool that allows you to easily create queries and generate reports from AIMS data
- CampusWeb: Web-based self-service for AIMS student, HR, and finance applications
- Moodle: Drew’s Learning Management System. The Instructional Technology Services Faculty Lab provides primary support and instructional design assistance to faculty and students using the Moodle system. ETC works closely with ITS and supports and maintains the Moodle application and its database.
- The Raiser’s Edge: Drew’s alumni/development database.
- GroupWise email and calendar.
- Ektron: Drew’s Content Management System for the Drew web site. In conjunction with the University Communications department, ETC supports the Ektron system through staff training and by maintaining the application servers and its database.
- U-KNOW: Drew’s new University Knowledge Platform.
- MI6: Drew’s new issue tracking system, used by the CNS Helpdesk and throughout University Technology for tracking support requests and projects.
- Identity and Access Management: Including uLogin account management, iChain and Novell SecureLogin single-sign-on.
- and many more specialized systems used in academic and administrative areas including: Ad-Astra room scheduling, the CBORD campus card system, Informant Suite for Public Safety, etc.
