The Consulting Services arm of the Enterprise Technology Center is housed primarily in the already existing Staff Lab. Consulting services is broken down to several broad categories: Training and Skill Development, Project Consulting, Process Consulting, Advanced Technical and Operational Support.
Training and Skill Development
The Staff Lab in ETC is committed to providing the Staff and Administration of Drew University the knowledge and skills to be as effective and efficient as possible. We are here to help you learn to take full advantage of all of the tools and technologies that Drew can provide. To this end, the Staff Lab offers training through scheduled workshops, in person one-on-one help, and specific on-demand customized workshops for departments.

Project Consulting
As part of the larger mission within ETC to provide top-quality technology solutions to the University Community, ETC is committed to an industry standard process of consulting and iterative development. While all members of ETC are engaged in this aspect of consulting, The Staff Lab will be the central coordinator for the requirements gathering on new requests for project development.

Process Consulting
In tandem with the Project Consulting focus of ETC, the Staff Lab is ready to help you look critically at the business processes you work with everyday to streamline and optimize them. This process analysis and redesign can not only make your work faster and easier, it can frequently lead to increased clarity into where exactly department resources are being used.

Advanced Technical and Operational Support
The Consulting Services arm of the ETC also provides technical support for those issues not covered by the CNS Helpdesk, but still related to University supported software. This includes support for software such as (but not limited to):
- HostAccess
- Cisco VPN client
- Microsoft Access
- Photoshop
- MvQuery
In addition to these services, the Consulting Services team also provides the printing services from AIMS. These letters, envelopes and other reports are printed in nightly batch and are available to the requisitioning department in the morning on the following business day.
